I definitely have some good things to say about the Power 4 Home wind and solar power guide. It provides some solid instructions for putting together your own solar panels and wind generator and at a very inexpensive price.

To be completely honest, I was a little put off by the Power 4 Home website because it felt almost overly pushy with a lot of big promises. But John Russel, the electrician and creator of the Power 4 Home system, has put together quite a nice home solar power system for himself using his own methods which is evident from his website pictures.

While you are not going to reduce your energy bill by 80% with a single solar panel, that goal is actually quite attainable by using John’s system. Once you learn how to build one solar panel, then the process becomes easy and you can even build multiple panels at one time. Once you start connecting your solar panels together, you will definitely be producing some significant and noticeable energy for your home.

But even by following the Power 4 Home guide and building your first solar panel, you will be able to actually see the difference in your monthly energy bill. And trust me, there is no better feeling than when you get that first energy bill in the mail and really see the difference. I still remember that day for me quite vividly.

It is true that we all want to save money, and wind and solar power is definitely one of the best ways to do this but John reminds us that there are other great causes that we are contributing to as well. By following this guide you will be well on your way to significantly reducing your carbon footprint and making the planet much more suitable and sustainable for our future generations.

I also like the angle that John takes with the Power 4 Home system and that it can also help power much more than just your home. You can use the very same solar panels you build for purposes like providing power for your boat or RV or even to provide you power for your upcoming camping trip.

The Power 4 Home guide also takes a stab at home wind power by showing you exactly how to build your own professional looking windmill. For close to $100, I think the windmill design is a great value but it is not as comprehensive as some of the other guides that have really put a lot of focus on wind power.

One thing that I did really like about this guide is that John was thinking outside the box and gives you a good way to save a significant amount of money by getting your hands on some free deep cycle batteries. It might takes a little bit of work on your part but it is definitely worth the effort given the money you will save.

Another big plus for the Power 4 Home guide is with the installation instructions. These instructions are as good, if not better, as any out there. This is especially true considering the fact that John has been kind enough to create an installation video which few other guides are willing to provide.

In the end, John Russel has put together a quality product in his Power 4 Home guide. If you are committed to following his system, it will deliver you the significant energy and money savings that you are looking for and at a cost that you can actually afford.
