		<description>There are different types of solar cells but the traditional solar cell (so to speak) used for high power applications is made out of monocrystaline silicon. The best place to purchase them is through auction sites like EBAY, especially if you are a beginner. You can get some good prices on kits that have everything you need including solder, bus wise, flux, etc. I&#039;m not sure if you want to build a solar cell or a solar panel?
